My RNE-E, Bluetooth (original fitted), and I mean the speedometer CAN is connected to bus.

If your RNS-E navigation arrows on the Speedo shows (or if you maybe a MultiFunktionel steering wheel), then the can is communication actually in operation (Infotainment-bus).
Missing you on hardware only (for example) that skpang pican module. You can put them directly in the raspberry, and then only the software installations should be carried out.
The skpang module has as well as the RNS-E a c-H and c-L-pin. You can make a direct connection to establish the communication. (PIN D9 and D10 on the S RNA)
It is not necessary, a ground wire to connect.As far as I know has no speed on can the A6 4 B, but his own analog cable (PIN B3 on RNS-E).
The appearance of raspberry on the FIS will probably not work, If an original (Bluetooth) Kit is installed. (I use the IDs of the CarKit to present file.)

I now use since 3 Years of “old” Pican. Some members of the Forum have the replacement (without mains power) acquired. My experience is, they work well.
The software is (largely) about this Web site. Possible are new versions now available (for example, my code is still based on Python 2.7, because now Python 3 the default setting is).

Skin Audi RNs full betaI use a Kufatec FSE. In my raspberry code I use data, She interpreted the Audi as phone data. This works well, as long as the actually installed FSE not addressed.
(One of the members of the Forum has shown, It responds his OEM FSE of the next message: “Telephone connection”).
Possibly can I solve the problem. I built a logging system in my code. If you can send the log to me, I can see what exactly messages, and how is the FSE stop to respond to messages on the raspberry.I can incorporate the multi function steering wheel control in the software (These are other messages such as E RNA, but the effect is the same, and I know, What IDs the wheel used).

My full beta version mean that's the ' full’ version is / everything what I have available; Functions / changelog.
The beta mean extra that's mein ' hobby’ project is, and maybe are still improvements possible. Sure because I've never done it with tested an A6.
Pictures (or video) are available on the Homepage (YouTube videos). I was trying mahl screen-shots making of 'live’ Pictures. Maybe tomorrow evening 🙂

Your Video splitter link points to a “MMI 3G Interface”. This is won’t fit your Rns-e sadly 🙁You’ll be needing an Rns-e interface (Also called MMI 1st Generation).
I added an image of what the interface would look like:
(They’re specific for Audi Rns, and sometimes also Volkswagen, Seat and Mercedes.)
(Image presents dual video output, this is for switching to rear view camera. You don’t need the feature if you just want Raspberry video playback.)The grey/pink 32 pin connector connects the video and the audio signal from your interface to the Rns-e.
