Today i try the 0.0.33 on my second Pi.
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install kodiThen i copied the skin to .kodi/addons
Restart the pi, but i only have the standart skin :/
I found the Skin in Addons to Activate.
If i activate it, a small Pop Up comes up “Defaults Loaded” or something and the Pling Sounds come again and again

I updated a 0.0.34 version.
Again the default settings seem to cause issues on first boot :S
Please install this version and check; “Settings” -> “Configure” -> “Logs” -> “Reset Defaults” (if none of the radio buttons allready are checked.)Kind regards,

vielen Dank erstmal für die super Seite und das Teilen mit anderen.
Ich habe vor kurzem das RNS-E bei mir eingebaut und bin dann auf deine Videos gestoßen. Da ich viel mit dem Raspberry mache liegt es nah ihn auch in meinen Audi einzubauen. Habe sofort das Skin gekauft und installiert. Mit dem Lite gab es leider das Problem das es nicht auf Krypton v17.3 läuft. Die Full Version wird bei mir kurz geladen aber dann wieder auf das alte Skin gestellt. Weiß jemand rat?
Edit:Habe meine Version noch nicht aktiviert da ich keine ProduktID bekommen habe. Liegt es vielleicht daran?

ich war zu voreilig habe es hin bekommen 😀 ganz doofe Sache. Habe mein Testaufbau an einem Touchscreen angeschlossen und da das Skin kein Touch unterstützt konnte ich die Aufforderung ob das Skin beibehalten bleiben soll nicht bestätigen. Dadurch hat sich das Skin wieder deaktivert. Nun habe ich nur keine Aktivierungs ID bekommen. Kann ich die nachträglich noch auslesen?Mit vielen Dank und Grüßen

I Installed Kodi 17 in my Car. So Far so Good.
Kodi Says “Some Addons are blablabal”
So i erased the old skin 0.30 Folder and place the new 0.34 in.
If i go to Addons and hit Enable, the Skin change to the RNS Skin and Video Out Stops.Did u have any Idea what is the problem?
Maybe Resolution? Pal or NTSC?
If i disable the RNS Addon, Kodi works Fine and Video is shown on the RNSE

It doesn’t ring a bell yet.
Did you “uninstall” the 0.0.30 and “install from zip” the 0.0.34 (or 35) version?
I’m not sure of copying files does the job. Also of there are any errors during the install job, you will get the red X popup and an log should be available at ./root/kodi/temp/kodi.logRegards,
Jeroenyes i delete the 0.30 Folder and Put the 0.34 in.I will try the 0.35 tomorrow and look for the log.
Never change a running system ^_^ 0.30 runs so smooth
Okay i try something here the results:
0.35 are not shown in addon list so i cant test it.
0.34 are shown and if i activate it, i see shortly the screen and then “no Signal” but kodi does not crash, if i turn the button on the radio i here the “clicking” sounds from be cursor.
So maybe its an resolution problem with my video-in modul Its set to PAL, with Kodi 15 and your skin its runs perfect :/ Which Resolution the skin uses? the same as Kodi Standart skin?

Hi David,
Connected to the Rns-e I use an analogue signal interface. During developing, I use the hdmi connection to 24″ screen. Both work stable.
Easiest way to test if your setup has an issue with your video-in-module is to test raspberry directly with an analogue cable to tv or monitor.
Rns-e screen has a resolution of 400×234 pixels which is the resolution I use for the skin (+4 or 5px for adjudgement)
You could change this resolution for testing (it’s set in addon.xml), but it will effect the appearance of the skin.Still it’s strange that the ‘pre-Krypton’ versions worked on your setup.
I’ll try to find some time to specificly test video playback on 0.0.35 version this week.

JeroenHi Jeron, on my Desk i connected to my 65″ TV and it works, just in the Car is the Problem.
I got the Facelift RNS with 800×480 but the Old Kodi 15 works very well.
I will test it and change the settings in den addon.xml.Thanks for Help

I can’t reproduce your case, cause I would need the same Video converter you use.
Besides the new Kodi version you also might have installed the latest Raspbian version?
I was thinking maybe there’s something different to the Video out defaults.
You might want to check HDMI settings in your config.txt file. There are a lot of settings!Hope it helps.

tomorrow i will test the settings in the addon.xml, but it looks like the same as in Kodi 15.
I use the Kufatech IMA Plus Converter. Kodi is Booting and in the Default Menu all looks fine. Only if i activate the RNSE skin it cuts the Signal.I only use the update command not the upgrade command was it right?
