The Beetle 2014 Kit features an officially licensed VW “Baja Bug” style body that was very popular in off-road racing then and now. The cast parts have been tweaked for even greater durability, and now use much stronger 6061 T6 aluminum.

Today I rescued a Kyosho Baja Beetle and a Kyosho Dodge Ram from going in the dumpster. The cars look to be in fairly good condition but do need some work and serious cleanings. I own several R/C trucks and cars but they are all electric and all Associated. I don’t know where to start on these Kyoshos.
